The name Pleos blends Pleo (Latin for “more”) with OS (Operating System), reflecting the group's vision to evolve technology by adding user-centered value to the movement of people and things—and to enable better mobility. At Pleos 25 in 2025, Hyundai Motor Group officially announced Pleos, a new mobility software brand platform, and revealed Pleos Vehicle OS (a new vehicle control operating system) along with Pleos Connect, a next-generation infotainment system—marking a more full-scale shift toward becoming a mobility tech company.
